How long do Free Shipping and Flat Rate shipping options take?

If you select Free Shipping or Flat Rate shipping for your order, it will ship in the ordinary time frame per each product and vendor by a number of ground transit shipping methods. SwingSetMall.com works with several suppliers in order to provide our customers the best selection of swing sets and swing set accessories online. Because of this, our shipping times vary depending on the vendor, products, and time of year. As many orders ship from multiple warehouses and services, it is also possible your order will not arrive all at once.

Smaller Parts & Accessories

Most smaller parts and accessories, such as swing seats and hardware, ship within 1-2 business days by package services such as UPS Ground, FedEx Ground, and USPS Priority Mail. Most other small accessories ship within 3-5 business days, unless otherwise specified. Transit times for package services is typically between 1-5 business days.

Truck Shipped Items

Large items, such as slides and swing sets, which are non-custom, typically ship in 3-5 business days by freight services such as FedEx Freight and YRC Freight. Such shipments require delivery by appointment for residential addresses.

Custom Made Items

Custom items, such as playset roof tarps, rope ladders, custom roto-molded plastics, and metal powder coated structures, can take between 1-3 weeks to produce. In most cases, you will find this noted in the "Availability" field on the product page.

During the heavy playground ordering months of May, June, and July, there may be periods during which processing time takes longer. We always do our best to advise customers when a longer than usual delay can be expected.

Can my order be expedited?

We offer several expedited options for orders shipping by package service. During checkout, if expedited shipping is available, you can choose from Next Day, 2nd Day, or 3 Day shipping. Costs for these services can be found during the shipping step during checkout or by entering your state and zip code on the Shopping Cart page. In addition to expedited package service, we also offer our FastLane processing for orders shipping out of our Washington state warehouse. For an added $10 this gets your order to the front of the line so it will ship the same or next business day by regular ground shipping methods. FastLane processing is currently available only by request over the phone.

Most large items, such as slides, and custom items cannot be expedited.

How do I add a signature requirement or special instructions for delivery?

You can request a signature requirement or add special instructions in the order comments field during checkout. This additional service will be added at no charge to you.

Will I receive a shipping tracking number for my order?

Yes. Tracking numbers are emailed to you as they become available to us. We always strive to give you the most up-to-date information about your order. Occasionally we are unable to update your order with the tracking number even though it may have already shipped from a remote supplier. Even still, we work diligently to make sure orders are processing in a reasonable time frame and will notify you about any delays.

Emails with tracking numbers will either include a direct link or a website address where the status of your shipment can be viewed. Here you will typically find the day your order is expected to deliver.

I only received some of my order. Where is the rest?

We work with a number of different suppliers in order to provide the largest selection of quality swing set accessories online. As such, many orders ship from multiple locations and arrive at different times. You should receive an email indicating partial shipment if this is the case with your order, and we will email you tracking numbers for each shipment as they become available.

If you have received all shipments for your order and an item appears to be missing, please contact us as soon as possible so we can ship out the missing item.

Do you ship outside of the USA?

Yes, we do! For smaller items shipping outside of the USA, our shopping cart will automatically quote a shipping cost for USPS Priority Mail International. Sometimes costs for international shipments vary significantly from the online quote. If this is the case, we will contact you for approval for the adjusted amount, or refund you the difference if the actual cost is less. If you wish to get a precise cost for shipping prior to ordering, we suggest emailing or calling us ahead of time so we can figure the exact shipping cost for you.

For larger items, such as slides, swing sets, structures, and any product which requires freight shipping, we can only ship within the contiguous 48 states. Shipping beyond that will need to be arranged by the customer or can be held and picked up at the nearest shipping terminal. We still offer Free Shipping and Flat Rate Shipping rates for items shipping to a freight forwarder in the contiguous 48 states. For examples of freight forwarders, we suggest looking at ShiptoHawaii.com, ShiptoAlaska.com, and ShipPorter.com. We can provide package weights and dimensions as needed for arranging shipments to freight forwarders.

Do you ship to PO boxes?

While some orders can ship entirely by USPS, many can only ship by carriers which cannot deliver to post offices, such as UPS and FedEx, so it is always recommended that you provide a physical address for shipping.
