Perect for the do-it-yourselfer, this unique a-frame bracket is exceptionally strong and makes it easy to put together your own swing set frame that your kids will love. This is the same bracket included in our Free Standing Swing Beam with Swings kit. Use one bracket to attach a swing beam to your playset, or use two brackets to create a free-standing swing set!

  1. Easy to assemble but not as stiff as it looks

    I purchased these because they looked easy to assemble and strong. After putting up a 8'6" high swing set using a 12 ft swing beam I am disappointed how much side to side movement there is. I will use angle irons along the corners of the legs to stake each leg into the ground. This will stiffen up the side to side movement. As far as keeping the swing beam from bending it is seems strong. Wish it had more than one thru bolt but i will add this when the wood gets old. It was easy to assemble and is likely the easiest design out there to work with.
