Product Description

Installation Instructions

  • Take the black hub and put the machine bolt through the back of it (the head will nest in the bolt head shaped hole).
  • Attach the black hub, with the flat part against the wood, using the two wood screws (put the two small washers on the wood screws first).
  • Slide the Ship's Wheel over the bolt so it fits well on the black hub.  Add the large washer, and fasten with the nut.
  • Press the yellow hub cover into the hole.
  • Launch the craft and have a great time sailing!

    This is a great Captains Wheel, But the hardware isnt. The Wheel itself is very large & is great for the kids. They don't tell you it makes a clicking sound when you turn it, which the kids love. I tossed aside the hardware kit & bought Stainless-steel bolts, washers & locknuts. (2) 5/16 x 2 1/2 bolts,to mount the backing plate. And (1) 5/16 x 2 1/4 bolt, with (1) 5/16 fender washer, to mount thru center of wheel. Put a little bearing grease on the bolt & fender washer, thru the center of the wheel. Like I said "This Is A Great Item". My grandchildren love it. POP-POP STEVE
